Financial Update
As we close the July books and reflect on the first half of 2025, we are grateful for your continued generosity. We are on track for our anticipated tithes and offerings; however, we are over budget on our expenses due to higher-than-expected, but necessary, ministry costs. That means we are growing, which is a good thing! Your recurring and one-time gifts go a long way in supporting our ministry. Please consider making a gift here: https://theparksa.breezechms.com/give/online. We can also accept stock donations. Please email terri@theparksa.org for more information.

School of Theology | October 5 – November 3, Sunday Mornings 8:30-9:30 am
Do you want to grow in confidence when reading Scripture? Join us for a 5-week School of Theology class where we’ll learn essential tools for engaging the Bible well. We’ll be walking through Gordon Fee’s classic book, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth, as we discover how understanding Scripture shapes our discipleship and helps us create a Rule of Life rooted in God’s Word. Open to everyone at The Park (no prior experience needed!) Childcare is provided by Family Ministries. (Please register so we can plan well!) Register today to save your seat and reserve childcare. Rule of Life
A rule of life, or regula vitae, is a commitment to live life in a particular way. It is meant to be crafted with discernment and prayer, in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Once it is created, it serves as a tool to help you order your days, your weeks, your months and your year. Check out our August sermon series to learn more and begin building your rule of life with our resources here.
Resources on Genesis
Our fall sermon series is diving into the first book of the Bible, which we’ll be studying from now to Thanksgiving. Visit our Genesis resource page to find weekly discussion questions and video resources for small groups. Also use our Free Access to Seminary Now to unlock a deep-dive study with theologian John Walton on “The Lost World of Genesis One.” Browse the Genesis Resource Page.
