family ministries

We are passionate about serving families and enabling them to practice a lifelong rhythm of spiritual growth. We feel honored to come alongside parents as their children are shown how and inspired to live out their lives with Christ.

We serve families by providing parents and kids with great resources that take advantage of the spiritual moments we already have throughout our day. We also create classes on Sundays, for kids 3 months through 5th grade, which are safe, fun, experiential environments where kids can learn about God!

Sunday Mornings

Infants & Toddlers

3 Months to 2 Years Old

Congratulations on your new baby or growing toddler! When you drop off your infant or toddler with us on a Sunday morning, you can expect that they will be cared for by one of our trained and screened volunteers who love God and babies! They will spend the hour looking after your child’s needs, playing and then praying for each child’s family.

Ages 2-5

Preschoolers live in a world of discovery. Everything is new and exciting! Sunday morning classes are designed with that in mind. Our time together will be full of engaging,  hands-on activities, interactive Bible stories and fun games where they can discover three basic truths- God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Kinder to 5th Grade

Elementary school is a perfect time for kids to learn how the Bible fits into their lives, learn how to talk to Him and how to build great friendships with others. Sunday mornings are designed to inspire kids in their walk with God and help them grow in Christ. Sunday morning classes begin with a fun activity that is designed to grab their attention and introduce a key truth. Then, we teach a Bible story, using props and characters from the story to help make the story come to life.  After our Bible story, kids break in to small groups to do an activity, talk about what they’ve learned that day and how it applies to their daily life.

The Park’s Family Ministry volunteers love God and are serious about having fun with kids! Get to know them and see for yourself what special people they are to our kids AND our ministry. Each volunteer is screened, background checked, and trained for the class and age group they serve in. If you are interested in serving with us on a Sunday morning – sign up here or contact us at

We use an online curriculum called First Look and 252 Basics for each of our Sunday morning classes. They are amazing, vetted, engaging web-based curriculums created by the ReThink group for Preschool and K-5th graders.  To learn more go to their website at

Parent Resources

Each month, we want to equip parents with easy to use tools that help you create or continue spiritual rhythms in your home. We provide a monthly info sheet that includes the Bible stories we will teach on Sundays, our memory verse for the month and ideas for activities to take advantage of the moments already in your day. In addition, our older kids will also receive weekly worksheets that include four different devotionals to further the lesson and virtue we talked about on Sunday. They are fun to do on their own or as a family!

Kids Dedication & Baptism

Kids Dedication

No one has more influence on children than parents! Twice a year families have the opportunity to dedicate their children to God during a kid’s dedication service. The service is part of our Sunday morning worship time and it is not infant baptism. Our kid’s dedication is a special time for parents to commit in leading their child into a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is also a time for our church community to surround and affirm parents in their commitment to raise their children in a Godly home.

Kids Baptism

As the priest of your home, and your child’s spiritual walk,  you are best equipped to decide when the moment is right for your child to be baptized. We are happy to provide resources to help guide your decision, and your child’s understanding on Baptism. Once you have made the choice, you are welcome to sign up your child at one of our church.
