Our good and relational God created the world,

so our lives find purpose in His presence as His image-bearers.

Because Genesis reveals who God is and why we exist

This makes all of life worship and means we live as stewards of creation.

Small Group Resources

Genesis 10–11 Discussion

Questions:
  • What does the Tower of Babel reveal about human pride and ambition?
  • In what ways do people today try to “make a name for themselves”?
  • How does God’s scattering actually protect humanity from itself?
  • How does Pentecost (Acts 2) serve as a reversal of Babel?
Practice: Spend time this week practicing humility: write down one area of life where you’re tempted to seek your own name, and pray to surrender it to God.

Genesis 7–9 Discussion

Questions:
  • What do you notice about God’s covenant with Noah and creation?
  • How does the rainbow function as a sign of God’s faithfulness?
  • What does this story teach us about God’s judgment and His mercy?
  • How can remembering God’s promises help you endure times of trial?
Practice: Create a “reminder of God’s promise” (draw a rainbow, write a verse, or make a note on your phone) and place it somewhere you’ll see it daily.
