Come hang out at Taroko Sports on Thursday, October 8th for a laid-back evening of fellowship and friendly competition. Think you’re better at baseball than Reed Kirksey? Taroko has batting cages, batting simulators, and pitching mounds to prove it once and for all. Not into baseball? No worries, you can still demonstrate your masculinity by competing in darts, mini bowling, or other arcade games. On a budget? Entry is free, and they’ve got big screens, so feel free to just come and hang out and watch some Thursday Night Football with other guys from The Park. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Romans Bible Study
Looking to go deeper in Scripture this fall? Join us for an in-depth study of Romans using Precepts Bible study materials. This group meet twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays, at the home of Guy and Rebecca Gould in the Thousand Oaks/Henderson Pass area beginning with dinner at 6:00 PM and Bible study from 7:00–8:30 PM. This study is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or marital status. No childcare is provided. Contact Guy Gould at ggould210@gmail.com for the address and more information. New faces are always welcome!
Ladies Book Club
LBC is a group of women who are reading a book together a chapter at a time. We meet every Tuesday evening 7:00-9:30 PM to discuss the assigned chapter, eat snacks and talk and before we pray together to end our meeting we share our prayers, praises and confessions as we feel comfortable. We just kicked off this week at Beacon House reading Redeeming Eden but there’s still time to join. The study will run for 13 weeks. For more information contact Des Leiloglou at des@theparksa.org.
School of Theology
Hospitality was central to the mission of the early Church, not simply entertaining friends, but welcoming the stranger, especially those who could not return the favor.
This fall, join us for the School of Theology as we read Christine Pohl’s Making Room and explore the Scriptures, Church history, and theology of hospitality. Together, we’ll consider what it means to practice genuine Christian hospitality in a world marked by loneliness, isolation, and need.
Purchase the 25th Anniversary Edition for updated content and a timely afterward.

Connect
Community at The ParkAt The Park, the community doesn’t stop on Sundays; connection continues as we share life together throughout the week. Our communities gather in living rooms, around tables, and on back porches to grow in their faith and follow Jesus side by side. Whether it’s a Bible study, book club, movie night, or something uniquely you, every group carries the same heart: discipleship in everyday life.
There’s a place for you here. Explore current groups and what’s new at theparksa.org/groups. And if you’re considering starting a group of your own, we’d love to help you think through what that could look like, you can reach out to Nancy Gaines at nancy@theparksa.org.
