Family Ministry Update

Our Family Ministry Pastor, Jen Tallon, will be taking her first-ever 5-week sabbatical, which will run June 22 – July 31. We are incredibly grateful she is intentionally setting aside this time to rest, reflect, and connect with God. Please join our church family in praying for true Sabbath renewal and deep rest for her during these weeks.

If you need any assistance regarding Family Ministries while Jen is away, please reach out to Scott Austin at scott@theparksa.org.

Youth Summer Series: Youth Story Formed Starts Next Sunday
Starting next Sunday, our incoming 6th through 10th graders are kicking off a brand-new summer series: Youth Story Formed. Each week, students will hear real, relatable stories of God’s faithfulness from ordinary adults in our church family, followed by interactive discussion time. We want our youth to discover that the church is a family, that their stories matter, and that they are surrounded by a community of adults who deeply care about them.

Summer Movie Sunday at The Park

Save the date! Kids entering Kinder through 5th grade are invited to join us for a fun-filled morning of movies, friends, and comfy pajamas during our special Summer Movie Sunday next Sunday, July 5th!

Bring a blanket and pillow, wear your favorite PJs, and get ready for a cozy movie experience during class. After check-in, kids will head straight to the 4th & 5th Grade Room for all the fun.

Connect

Community at The ParkAt The Park, the community doesn’t stop on Sundays; connection continues as we share life together throughout the week. Our communities gather in living rooms, around tables, and on back porches to grow in their faith and follow Jesus side by side. Whether it’s a Bible study, book club, movie night, or something uniquely you, every group carries the same heart: discipleship in everyday life.
There’s a place for you here. Explore current groups and what’s new at theparksa.org/groups. And if you’re considering starting a group of your own, we’d love to help you think through what that could look like, you can reach out to Nancy Gaines at nancy@theparksa.org.

Small Group Discussion Questions
Looking for a simple way to stay connected to Scripture throughout the week? Each week, we post discussion questions that align with Sunday’s sermon to help you continue engaging God’s Word beyond Sunday morning. These questions are designed to be used with your family, your small group, or on your own as a rhythm of weekly Scripture reflection.

Whether you’re around a dinner table, in a living room, or opening your Bible on a quiet morning, this is an easy way to keep the conversation going and let the sermon shape your week.

You can find the weekly questions by clicking here.

Worship at The Park
