Reading: Hebrews 1:1–14

Series Bottom Line:
Hebrews teaches us that Jesus is better and His work is finished. Because in Jesus we have everything we need… this anchors our lives in worship and frees us from fear to live sacrificially toward one another.

Summary

As we step into an unknown year, Hebrews opens with a breathtaking announcement: God has spoken — finally and fully — in His Son.
In the past, God spoke in fragments, through prophets and signs and shadows. But now He has spoken in a Son-shapedway. Jesus is not one voice among many — He is the Final Word.

Hebrews 1 lifts our eyes to who this Son truly is:
the heir of all things, the creator of the universe, the radiance of God’s glory, the exact imprint of His nature, the one who sustains all things, the priest who made purification for sins, and the king who now sits enthroned because His work is finished.

As we begin 2026, we are not anchoring our lives in predictions, plans, or performance — we are anchoring them in a finished Savior who holds all things together by His powerful word.

“Because in Jesus, we have everything we need.”
This year does not rest on your strength, your plans, or your performance —
it rests on the Son who is already seated in victory.
