Story Formed | July
Every follower of Jesus has a story—a personal testimony of God’s work in their life. Sharing your story helps others see the hope, transformation, and ongoing work of Christ in real, everyday life. As part of our summer series, Story Formed, we will highlight stories from people in our community and invite you to share your stories. Each Sunday in July, we’ll hear from one of our community members, and throughout the month, you’re invited to read stories from our community and tell your story.
Summer School of Theology: Five-Fold Ministry | Starting Sun. Jul 13, 8:30-9:30 am
Want to understand better how God uniquely designed you to serve and lead? Join us for the Summer School of Theology: Five-Fold Ministry at The Park. This is a great opportunity to explore how God has uniquely gifted you—as an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, or Teacher—and how that shapes the way you live, serve, and lead in community. Register ahead of time so we can send you the APEST assessment before the first session. We are excited to discover together how the Spirit is forming and sending us! Register for Summer SOT
Men’s Social | Mon. Jul 28, 8:00-10:00 pm
Join us for a laid-back evening at San Pedro Driving Range and Par 3. No golf experience necessary! You can buy a bucket of balls to hit on the range, try out the 18-hole putting course, or just grab a drink and hang out on the covered patio. Register Here.
Spend a morning with men of The Park community at the home of Scott Austin. We will be leaning into some wisdom on a few fronts:
1. The Park’s coffee influencers will be pouring up some special pourovers and teaching us the proper way to taste coffee.
2. We will have a panel discussing faith and work, featuring some of the wise men in our community, who will share their insights on navigating the world of industry as followers of Jesus.
3. Last but not least, Scott will be unpacking the breakfast taco boxes!
We hope you can join us for an intentional morning with friends new and old. Register Here.
Texas Hill Country Support
In the aftermath of the flooding in the Texas Hill Country, those directly involved are left to face the heavy emotional toll that follows such a loss. Access to professional counseling is a vital step in the healing process, but for many, the cost can be a barrier. The Beacon House Counselors and close colleagues want to offer professional support while also raising funds to provide ongoing mental health services. If you lost a loved one, sustained the tragedy in person, or have been volunteering in the rescue and clean-up efforts, we are here to help. And if you are looking for a way to help our neighbors, please consider donating to help cover counseling costs. You can donate by clicking here and selecting “Beacon House Counseling Scholarship” on the dropdown. Donate Now.
Serve
Blueprint Serving | July 20-25, 2025
Our youth will be serving with Blueprint Ministries this summer by helping restore homes in San Antonio. Our teens, along with groups all across the nation, are doing this work during the hot summer months. Being local, have opportunities to serve as well! There are two crucial areas we can help: the first is meal service. Blueprint needs volunteers to prep meals to fuel their service teams; the needs are 5:30-8:00pm Sunday-Thursday. The next opportunity is for tool running on Mondays and Thursdays. Monday mornings starting 8:00 am and Thursdays starting at 1:00 pm, they need people with pickup trucks to help send or retrieve tools and materials from worksites to ensure that work gets done and can continue to get done for subsequent teams.
