Back to School Sunday (Aug 11)
Join us for Back-to-School Sunday! Before the service at 9:30 am, there will be an opportunity to visit classrooms as our elementary students transition to their new classes. We will also have food, a photo opp, and lots of fun! We will pray for our students and educators during the service as they embark on a new school year.
Connection Sunday + Starting Point (Aug 18)
Join us as we explore exciting upcoming opportunities for our church community. We will focus on various connection opportunities that allow us to grow together in faith and fellowship. People new to The Park are invited to join us for Starting Point right after service for about 15 minutes. If you’re new or have questions, this is a great place to start.
Serve
Nominate Leaders to The Park Advisory Board
The Park highly values the input, thoughts, and feedback from the community. Serving on the Advisory Board is an opportunity to regularly meet to pray and to discuss issues and decisions that affect the church. This is a two-year commitment that will begin in Fall 2024. Ideal candidates are people who are committed to the Park (he/she attends church regularly, volunteers in some capacity, and is willing to attend regular Advisory Board meetings); exhibits wisdom in his/her life; and the Fruits of the Spirit are evident in his/her life. Connect with a Group
We are constantly looking to explore new ways to foster community through discipleship and bringing people together to develop Christ-centered friendships. Over the past year and a half, we’ve witnessed an organic growth of these groups. Women have gathered for book or video studies, men sharing Kairos moments over morning tacos, and moms and kids connecting through backyard playdates. We hope to see even more of this as we encourage everyone to meet with a few friends in some sort of consistent rhythm. If you are in need of counseling of any sort, mentoring, assistance meeting a need, or prayer – we want to come alongside you to assist in these things. To find out more on our Care Ministry you can click here.
Can we pray with you?
If you have a prayer request you would like us to pray for, we are available for prayer on Sunday morning before, during, and after service. You can contact Des Leiloglou at des@theparksa.org if you would like prayer before or after service. We also have a way for you to submit a prayer request at any time via our Church Form. Prayer requests can be confidential or can be shared with our staff to be prayed over. Click here to submit a prayer request.
