Get Connected at The Park

Last Sunday we highlighted The Park’s connection pathway in service: Attend, Engage, and Lead. In case you missed it, take some time to look over each category and invitation to join us in some of these rhythms. If you have questions about any of these you can contact Nancy Gaines at nancy@theparksa.org.

Attend: Our hope is you feel welcome from the minute you walk into Sunday worship or neighborhood parish.  Consistent rhythms of showing up and being fully present are where the connection journey begins.

Engage: To know and be known is the next step on the connection journey. We invite you engage community in the following ways.

Lead: Ultimately, our prayer is you will seek ways to join God in the renewal of your workplace, neighborhood, and network of relationships.  The connection journey culminates in an invitation to servant leadership.

  • Launch a Discipleship Core
  • Launch a Neighborhood Parish
  • Join the advisory board
  • Launch something new!

Men’s Ministry

We are excited to launch and reintroduce to you several men’s groups happening weekly, and monthly.

Men’s Discipleship Core– Meets at Tia’s Taco Hut 7-8am on Tuesdays. The group will look at a passage of scripture using Lectio Divina.

Monthly Men’s Fellowship– This group meets the last Friday of the month 8-10 PM for fellowship and prayer.

Spirited– This is a group of people sitting around a table, talking about issues of faith and philosophy, ethics and ideas. It is a safe space, where people can be honest and open about topics of faith, ask any questions, and at the end of the night, know that it’s perfectly fine if we disagree with one another. Group meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month 7:30-9:30 PM.

Pre-Service Connection

Did you know every Sunday we have a time of community before service? Starting at 9:30am we have tacos and coffee available in the sanctuary. We hope you will join us to say hello, catch up, or pray before service.

Prayer at The Park

If you have a prayer request you would like us to pray for, we are available for prayer on Sunday morning during service. We also have a way for you to submit prayer request at any time via our Church Form. Prayer request can be confidential or can be shared with our staff to be prayed over. Care Ministry

If you are in need of counseling of any sort, mentoring, assistance meeting a need, or prayer, we want to come along side you to assist in these things. To find out more on our Care Ministry you can click here.
