Foster/Adopt Informational Ministry Dinner
Next Thursday is the Foster/Adopt Ministry informational dinner on Thursday, September 22nd from 6:30 – 8PM at Beacon House. This dinner is for those interested in supporting the ministry and for families who are interested in fostering and adoption. We will have dinner and discussion during our time together. Party on the Playground
Join us September 25th for a Party on the Playground outside after service. To wrap up the elementary theme for this month we will have popcorn and cotton candy for everyone to enjoy! This is open to everyone in our church community so we hope you will stick around after service!
San Antonio Neighbors Together
San Antonio Neighbors Together, previously known as National Night Out, is Tuesday, October 4th. The event is aimed at promoting year round community involvement and is an easy entry way into getting to know neighbors. The Park would like to help support you in fostering community in your neighborhood on October 4th by offering to help supplement some of the cost to host your neighbors. Whether it’s dinner, an ice cream social, or fun snacks on the driveway, we hope you will invite your neighbors over and invite them into conversation. To help supplement costs for your event, The Park is offering up to $100 reimbursement. Need help with ideas or where to start, we’d love to help! Friday Morning Prayer
Join us every Friday at 7:30am at the Beacon House. Doors open at 7:15am and coffee will be available. We start at 7:30am with a short lectio divina, then pray ACTS prayer together and close with communion. We are done roughly around 8am. Care Ministry
If you are in need of counseling of any sort, mentoring, assistance meeting a need, or prayer, we want to come along side you to assist in these things. To find out more on our Care Ministry you can click here.
Fall Sunday Morning Serving
We are still very much in need of volunteers in all of our ministry areas: Media, Family Ministry, Connections and Operations. These volunteer teams allow you to serve before service, during or after once a month. Neighborhood Parish Meals
Parish meals are a great way to get connected to people in our church community as well as in surrounding neighborhoods. Dinners, events, and men and women hang outs are planned throughout the fall through The Park’s neighborhood parishes. Groups meet on different nights of the week, so check out which is closest to you, or which night of the week works best for you.
