Starting Point This Sunday

Join us this Sunday right after service for Starting Point. This is a 15 minute class that covers key areas of The Park- core values, rhythm and formation, ways to get involved in community and discipleship and where The Park is headed. It’s also a great way for us to hear more about you! We look forward to seeing you after service this Sunday.

Seminar with Lynn Cohick: Household Codes in the Early Church and Their Value for the Church Today

There’s still time to register for next Saturday’s seminar. This seminar will discuss how the early church was a diverse community of people called together as one new humanity under Christ. What did it mean for men and women, slaves and free people, Jews and Gentiles to be the Body of Christ and what implications does this have for the church today? Join us next Saturday, September 10th at the Beacon House, 9am-12pm, for a morning of teaching and discussion with a leading voice in this area. A light breakfast will be provided. Click here to register.

Is Seminary Right For You

Join us at Beacon House for lunch September 10th, 12:30-2:30pm, for a discussion with Dr. Lynn Cohick, Provost and Dean of Academic Affairs of Northern Seminary in Lisle, Illinois. Dr. Cohick will answer questions about the many different degree programs offered through Northern Seminary. If you have ever been curious about seminary, don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to learn more! Click here to register.

Neighborhood Parish Meals

Parish meals are a great way to get connected to people in our church community as well as in surrounding neighborhoods. Dinners, events, and men and women hang outs are planned throughout the fall through The Park’s neighborhood parishes. Groups meet on different nights of the week, so check out which is closest to you, or which night of the week works best for you. If you need help getting connected to a parish gathering you can click here.

Stay in Contact

If you are experiencing any hardships we want to be there to support you. If you have questions or needs we can help with, email us at info@theparksa.org.
