If you would like to get your donations in to either parish before the end of the 2019 tax year there are three ways to do so.
- Drop your gift in the offering box located in the lobby this Sunday.
- Mail a check dated by December 31st to: P.O. Box 781669, SA TX 78278.
- Give online by December 31st by clicking here.
In January 2020, The Park Community Church turns 10 years old! It is pretty amazing to see all the ways God has worked in and through this community over the last decade. From starting out with a couple dozen people at the Rose Theatre, to now having 3 neighborhood communities gathering for worship, discipleship, prayer and mission is incredible. Praise God!
Our plan is to continue chasing the vision God has given us: to be a freely gathered, sacrificial people who are led by the Spirit; to live in submission to one another under the headship of Christ, joining God in the renewal of all things. Among other texts, this vision is born out of John 15, Ephesians 4, and Acts 2. These three passages interestingly enough lay out the mission for the individual (to abide), the church gathered (local and present to one another), and the church’s witness (their number added to daily) in the world.
In light of this mission and vision, I have a question for you:
What would it look like for you to set specific targets for 2020 in each of these 3 areas and who can you invite into that journey with you?
Ok, that was technically 2, but you get the idea. No plan equals no growth! Committing to this undoubtedly will require sacrifice, patience, and resolve.
