Good morning!
The month of July has come and gone! We hope you have been enjoying our study of a few psalms this summer. We have a couple more weeks to go. David is such a great example to us of someone who experienced so many highs and lows. Throughout his life he knew of God’s constant love for him.
We looked at Psalm 103 last week where we saw David’s eternal perspective shine through towards the end of his life. What’s keeping us from this perspective now? Today you and I have an opportunity to “Bless the Lord, o my soul, and all that is within me bless his holy name”, Psalm 103:1.

Kids Dedication: On August 12th we will be dedicating kids at The Park. It is a powerful event in the life of a family! If you are interested in taking part in this, please contact Jen at jen@theparksa.org.
Starting Point: Do you have questions about the Park? Would you like to hear more about the vision of our community? Bible Study for Women: Jana Galt (jana.b.galt@gmail.com) is the San Antonio class administrator for Community Bible Study. This is a bible study for women that has more than 600 classes worldwide. There is a program through this bible study for all kids from infants through high school. This would be a great opportunity for women at the Park to connect with other women and grow in their study of God’s word. Volunteering on Sundays: As our community continues to grow, there are always needs with regard to volunteering on Sundays. We ask people for a once-a-month commitment to reinforce the fact that your primary ministry exists outside of Sunday mornings. If we all take one Sunday per month, we can keep that focus alive. Psalms Teaching Series: This Sunday we are continuing our study of a few Psalms. The focus for this week will be Psalm 39. A great way to get more out of Sunday is to read before coming. So, take a 5 minute break today and give it a read. We will see you Sunday.
Book of Romans Community Groups in the Fall: We are excited to study the book of Romans this coming fall. We will be launching some community groups that will track along with the sermons each week. Currently existing groups can also participate in this study. We are currently in the process of recruiting people who would like to host/lead a group.
