Oak Meadow Parish
My faith journey started in 1987 at a small neighborhood church in North Houston, it was nurtured in the living rooms of families willing to host youth bible studies. We set up chairs for our multi use church facility (a metal building) at what felt like the crack of dawn to my adolescent sensibilities. My earliest memories of church are about service, sacrifice, worship, and learning. I received and was expected, needed, to give back in all those same areas. In many ways the ideal church is still that first community where I found a home. My prayer is those same rhythms will echo through our parish in the Oak Meadow neighborhood and that those rhythms will resonate with you. We would love to see you on Sunday!

What to Expect
We are to live lives of worship. On Sunday’s we worship together through music and scripture.
We take communion together every week. We believe that this grounds us in the gospel.
We usually teach from a book of the Bible, walking together to understand the way of Jesus..
We meet in the cafeteria/auditorium of a neighborhood school. We love and care for both those who live around us and those who attend the school.
