Advent Devotional
During the Advent season we will be sharing a devotional that coincides with the upcoming sermon leading up to Christmas Eve.
Love
Selah – Close your eyes and take a deep breath, a soulful sigh.
Love descends. Jesus breaks new ground. Jesus is bringing the day, He is bringing the newness of life.
Selah.
Love fills. It’s not just a taste and not just a look, it’s His presence and a persistent presence at that.
Selah.
Love overflows. “But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up in him for eternal life” (John 4:14). He gives so much we just burst at the seams.
Selah.
Love arises. Love fights for His own. Love conquers all and relinquishes not. Love begets love. Love in Love.

Jingle Jam Next Sunday
Families you are going to want to save the date for Jingle Jam- The Big Give, happening in the sanctuary on Sunday, December 11th at 8:45am. Everyone is invited to dress up in their best Christmas festive outfit! We will have a light breakfast and a Christmas party for the entire family.
Blueprint Gift Delivery
We will be supporting The Park’s Missional Partner, Blueprint Ministries, again this year for the Advent season. Blueprint Ministries is committed to making homes healthier, safer, and drier for our San Antonio neighbors. Every Christmas we support Blueprint by purchasing and delivering gifts and praying with homeowners Blueprint is connected with. It is truly more than just the gifts that make these visits special for homeowner. You can purchase for an individual, a couple, or family which could include three or more people. Gifts range in price, but are all under $100, you can see a sample list of items by clicking here. This is a suggested list, you are not limited to these items. Gift(s) purchased must be wrapped and labeled with the name of person or family. On December 11th after service we will dismiss from church and have a short 10 minute training on delivering gifts to homeowners. If you are unable to deliver gifts on that day, you will need to reschedule with the homeowner. This year we are unable to collect gifts and coordinate alternate deliveries. Starting Point
Join us this Sunday right after service for Starting Point. This is a 15 minute class that covers key areas of The Park- core values, rhythm and formation, ways to get involved in community and discipleship and where The Park is headed. It’s also a great way for us to hear more about you! We look forward to seeing you after service this Sunday.
Pre-Service Connection
Did you know every Sunday we have a time of community before service? Starting at 9:30am we have tacos and coffee available in the sanctuary. We hope you will join us to say hello, catch up, or pray before service.
Daily Scripture Reading
We hope you are continuing to join us in daily scripture reading. We long to see a work of God in our church and in our city. What might the Spirit do in us if we are committed to daily reading together? Join us and let’s see what God will do.
The passages are chosen to coincide with our sermon series. The reading plan is set up so that there’s no “catching up” to do. If you miss a day, just pick up on the next one! Follow along with the readings using a Bible or The Park App or online. Jump in and get started! Establish a regular time and place to help you get into a prayerful state of mind more consistently.
Prayer at The Park
If you have a prayer request you would like us to pray for, we are available for prayer on Sunday morning during service. We also have a way for you to submit prayer request at any time via our Church Form. Prayer request can be confidential or can be shared with our staff to be prayed over. Friday Morning Prayer
Join us every Friday at 7:30am at the Beacon House. Doors open at 7:15am and coffee will be available. We start at 7:30am with a short lectio divina, then pray ACTS prayer together and close with communion. We are done roughly around 8am.
