Seminar with Lynn Cohick: Household Codes in the Early Church and Their Value for the Church Today

The early church was a diverse community of people called together as one new humanity under Christ. What did it mean for men and women, slaves and free people, Jews and Gentiles to be the Body of Christ and what implications does this have for the church today? Join us September 10th at the Beacon House, 9am-12pm, for a morning of teaching and discussion with a leading voice in this area. A light breakfast will be provided. Click here to register.

Fall Sunday Morning Serving

This past Sunday we heard from Jen Tallon on Family Ministry’s need for volunteers on Sunday mornings. We are still very much in need of volunteers in all of our ministry areas: Media, Family Ministry, Connections and Operations. These volunteer teams allow you to serve before service, during or after once a month. If you would like to hear more about our volunteer opportunities you can click here and we will contact you with more information.

Care Ministry

If you are in need of counseling of any sort, mentoring, assistance meeting a need, or prayer, we want to come along side you to assist in these things. To find out more on our Care Ministry you can click here.

Neighborhood Parish Meals

Parish meals are a great way to get connected to people in our church community as well as in surrounding neighborhoods. Dinners, events, and men and women hang outs are planned throughout the fall through The Park’s neighborhood parishes. Groups meet on different nights of the week, so check out which is closest to you, or which night of the week works best for you. If you need help getting connected to a parish gathering you can click here.
