Discipling Your Kids At Any Age
There’s still time to register for this Sunday’s Discipling Your Kids At Any Age class. Here we will share lots of resources as well as have breakout sessions for Preschool, Elementary, and Youth. Onsite childcare is available. Join us for a hands-on workshop where you create a yearly discipleship plan for your family. The class will be Sunday, May 15, 2 – 4 PM at 708 West Summit Ave. Click here to register.
Baptism
We are excited to have a service of baptism on May 29th during our Sunday service. If you, or your child, are interested in baptism we would love to talk more with you. If your child is interested in baptism, we have curriculum for you to be able to go through with your child. For more information on baptism you can click here, chose “baptism”, then “adult baptism” or “kids baptism” and a parish pastor will contact you.
Neighborhood Parish Meals
Next week is our neighborhood parish meals. The Park has six neighborhood parishes around San Antonio which meet on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month. We gather together for a meal and community. Groups meet on different nights of the week, so check out which is closest to you, or which night of the week works best for you. Blueprint Mission Camp
Join us this summer at Blueprint Mission Camp July 17 – 21, 2022! Each summer we join with Blueprint to work at inner-city homes during the day and share in worship together in the evenings. Blueprint provides all lodging, food, tools, materials and programming during camp. This camp is open to any 6th-12th grader for the 2022-2023 school year. The cost is $225 per camper; $100 deposit needs to be paid at registration. The full payment is due by June 30, 2022.
We are also looking for a male and female leader to accompany our awesome youth kids. It’s an all-expense paid trip! It’s an incredibly transformative time for our youth and those who lead them, connecting with the homeowners and being the hands and feet of Jesus. Bible Book Club
Join us as we read a book of the Bible each month together. We will read throughout the month, have a dedicated slack channel for ongoing questions, comments, observations and prayer requests, and join up at the end of the month for a hangout and discussion time. Foster/Adopt Ministry Serving Opportunities
CPS is working hard with biological families in our community that are lacking resources – one of the biggest needs for these families are beds for their children. Woodland Baptist Church has an amazing group of volunteers that have been building beds for these families and The Park Foster/Adopt Team is hoping to provide support once a month for the delivery and assembling of these beds. Tomorrow, Saturday, May 14th from 9 AM-12 PM is our next day to help serve. We are in need of volunteers who have a truck or access to one for the delivery dates – but trucks aren’t required to volunteer. Sunday Morning Serving
The Park is in need of people to help serve alongside us on Sunday mornings. We would love to have you join us! We have multiple volunteer teams which allow you to serve before service, during or after.
