Starting Point This Sunday

Join us this Sunday right after service for Starting Point. This is a 30 minute class that covers key areas of The Park- core values, rhythm and formation, ways to get involved in community and where we are headed. It’s also a great way for us to hear more about you! We look forward to seeing you after service this Sunday.

Care Ministry

We are excited to relaunch our Care Ministry. We are fortunate to have Jordan Cienski, a LPC, join us in developing our Care Ministry. If you are in need of counseling of any sort, mentoring, assistance meeting a need, or prayer, we want to come along side you to assist in these things. Foster/Adopt Ministry Need

South Texas Alliance for Orphans has reached out The Park’s Foster Adopt Ministry to see if our church could help meet a need. Bed frames have been built for children who are currently in the family based and investigative units of CPS. There are 15 beds built and they are looking for volunteers to deliver and assemble the beds. It would require 2-3 people and a truck, plus a few hours of time. As more beds are built, more volunteer opportunities will become available. If you’re interested in helping deliver or assisting in assembling beds you can contact Cadence Corbin at Cadencecorbin2@gmail.com. If you’re interested in serving alongside the Foster/Adopt Ministry through the many options they have you can fill out a form by clicking here.

Neighborhood Parish Meals

The Parish Network model envisions one urban church community consisting of several neighborhood parish communities that network together for the common good and renewal of the city. Parish is an ancient term that resonates deeply with us. We call our faith communities parishes because we desire them to be deeply rooted, faithfully present and Spirit led people who are committed to living on mission in a specific neighborhood. In other words, the name parish implies that we are accepting spiritual responsibility for our neighborhoods by seeking to join God in His renewal of the communities in which we live, work and worship in. If you need help getting get connected to a parish for our 1st and 3rd week gatherings you can click here.
