New Check-In Process for Family Ministry

Family Ministries check-in system is getting an upgrade! Over the next month, we will be shifting everyone over to a more effortless, faster, and hopefully, more efficient check-in module.  What does this practically mean?

1. Each family will now have a unique mobile pass QR code. You can save the code to your Apple Wallet or on Android Pass2U.

2. Sunday, when you are within a half-mile from church, the code will pop up on your phone.

3. When you get to Family Ministries, you will scan the code via the iPad camera and check-in your family!

In the next couple of days, you will be receiving an email from – The Park Community Church with the email address (if you haven’t received it check your spam folder and contact Jen Tallon), download your QR code, and you’re good to go! If you prefer not to use this system, you can enter the last four digits of your phone number on the self-serve kiosk, or we will be glad to check you in, or if you prefer to use a barcode you already have on your keys or diaper bag, we would be happy to set that up for you (none of the personal information from that code will transfer in our system as it sees it simply as a series of numbers to connect to your check-in profile). If you have any questions you can contact Jen Tallon at

Kid’s Dedication

We will be having Kid Dedications as part of our Sunday morning service on October 24th. Kids Dedication is a time when families bring their kids before the church and commit together with the congregation to raise them in the way of the Lord. This service is a special monument in the lives of parents and their children. There will be a class Sunday, October 10th for parents to attend. Register, save the date and invite family members to join the celebration! To dedicate your child you can click here.

Galatians Study

Our church family is continuing to join in new rhythms this fall season. During the seven weeks we are studying the book of Galatians we invite you to join us in daily scripture reading. We long to see a work of God in our church and in our city. What might the Spirit do in us if we are committed to daily reading together? Join us and let’s see what God will do.

The passages are chosen to coincide with our sermon series on the book of Galatians.

The reading plan is set up so that there’s no “catching up” to do. If you miss a day, just pick up on the next one! Follow along with the readings using a Bible or The Park App. Jump in and get started! Establish a regular time and place to help you get into a prayerful state of mind more consistently.

You can print the list by downloading this PDF. Each Wednesday we will release a new devotional podcast that includes a reflection, a scripture reading and a prayer. You can listen on The Park App, by subscribing to the podcast, or by listening here.

Neighborhood Parish Groups

Neighborhood Parish meals have kicked off and you can still join in this week! Hosts from each parish would love to welcome you into their homes. Each neighborhood parish will gather the first and third weeks of the month. Each parish meets in homes around the city and shares a meal together. Click here to see each group’s night of the week they are meeting and join a group!

Starting Point This Sunday

Join us this Sunday, October 3rd after service for Starting Point. This is a 30 minute class that covers key areas of The Park- core values, rhythm and formation, and where we are headed. It’s also a great way to hear more about you! We look forward to seeing you after service Sunday. Click here to register to attend.

Connecting Through Serving

One of the best ways to connect with others is through serving alongside them. Weekly, we have a team of volunteers to make our service run, from setting up before service to teaching kids in Family Ministry, we can’t do it with out a team of people. As our Sunday morning church community continues to grow, so does the need for more people to help serve. If you would like to serve once a month in any of our four areas: Family Ministry (Infants to Elementary), Media, Connections or Operations, you can click here. Someone from our staff will contact you with more information.
