Prayer Send Off

What a wonderful and joyful service we had last Sunday celebrating 24 kids getting dedicated and all the special women in our community! Family Ministries is doing a wonderful job of loving and teaching your kiddos over the past two weeks! If you haven’t joined us yet, we are meeting on the second floor of the Elementary building, which is called the Love Building. A central entrance leads to stairs or elevator for going to the second floor, where families will be able to drop off kids walking one direction, and will be able to go to the worship service space the other.

This Sunday, May 16th, we will be praying over graduates and those in the military being relocated. We want to bless and encourage you in this next season during a time of prayer in service.

Welcoming You With No Pre-Registration

Starting this Sunday, May 16th, we will no longer require pre-registration for attendees or children for Family Ministries when you enter. If you have a child 3 month old to 5 years of age who will be dropped off in Family Ministries, proceed to the 2nd floor – Family Ministry will check-in families in the gym.

Also beginning this Sunday, we are shifting to masks being optional. We have always considered and followed CDC recommendations, and this week they released new guidelines stating that those who are vaccinated do not need to wear masks inside anymore. We trust that you will make the best decision for yourself and your family while attending worship. Be mindful that everyone attending in-person worship has a different personal comfort level with COVID-19, face coverings, and social distancing, be respectful and supportive of others’ choices while on campus. We ask for grace and patience with everyone you encounter.

What to Expect In Family Ministries

We have enjoyed seeing so many of your little ones in our Family Ministry classes and hope to see more of them! As a reminder we have classes for children 3 months to 5 years old! We have added some extra precautions to help keep your family safe. Here’s what you can expect in our Sunday environments for kids –

  • At check-in: we will ask for your name, take your temperature and ask your family to clean their hands with hand sanitizer.
  • Masks or face shields are optional for volunteers.
  • Masks are NOT required for children.
  • We ask that one parent drop off or pick up, if possible.
  • Capacity in rooms is limited. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Hand sanitizer is available.
  • Classes are properly sanitized before and after service.
  • Children are asked not to attend if they feel ill, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 14 days.

We will host a short service outdoors for those being baptized, and friends and family are welcome to join! We already have adults and kids signed up, but we have room for more!
