End of Year Giving
We are extremely grateful for the faithful financial gifts that you all have contributed in 2020 which have resourced us to join in (in new and creative ways this year!) what God is doing in our neighborhoods and city. In case you missed The Park’s Annual Report with highlights of what your giving has enabled us to do you can click here to view it. As we look to next year, we invite you to make an end of year gift to help seed the work of the Park going forward. There are three ways to do so.
• Drop your gift in the offering box located inside and outside at Aggie Park this Sunday
• Mail a check dated by December 31st to: P.O. Box 781669, SA TX 78278
• Give online by December 31st by clicking here.
We pray you all have a wonderful Christmas and hope to see you in person or online this weekend!

Devotional
This last Tuesday as a staff team we went around the Zoom chat room and answered this question “what are you hopeful for?” What I consistently heard was a hopefulness that Jesus would break into our neighborhoods and become real to our neighbors. That we could start to build relationships with our immediate neighbors and have a boldness to share the Gospel with them. We were all hopeful that we could bring hope, love, and freedom into their lives. It wasn’t until that Tuesday meeting that Christmas began to feel right again. This Christmas season hasn’t felt right to me. With the canceled Christmas parties, canceled trips, and canceled family gatherings, it felt like the spirit of Christmas was canceled as well. What I realized was that the spirit of Christmas is the story of Jesus stepping down from Heaven, becoming a baby, and bringing hope, love, and freedom to the world.
There are three things I ask of you this week.
- As a family or you can e-mail me (nick@theparksa.org), answer this question, “what are you hopeful for?”
- Celebrate this Christmas (responsibly). We can celebrate that Jesus was born 2000 years ago!
- For the year 2021, let us see our neighbors the way Christ sees them. Be active in your neighborhood; you never know when God will invite you to be bold and share the Good News.
Merry Christmas!
~Nick Smith
