All Parish Worship Service at Branckenridge Park
As you read and study together, make sure to work hard at hearing from everyone that has gathered together. Pray for one another and be accountable to applying the word of God to your lives.
Questions:
- Reflect on your baptism. Share your story with your missional community. When did you get baptized? Why did you get baptized? What does baptism mean to you?
- Paul states, “We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” What does it mean to you to have died to sin?
- In Romans 6:6, Paul tells us, “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with” (or rendered powerless). Do you live in the reality that your flesh and the sinful desires that come with it have been rendered powerless? What would it take for you to live into that?
