All Things New

Happy New Year! We hope this year of study together will be an incredible one for your Missional Community Group. Next week we will start our study of the book of Ezra. This week we will have a time of reflection looking at creation, fall, redemption, and restoration.
As you read and study together, make sure to work hard at hearing from everyone that has gathered together. Pray for one another and be accountable to applying the word of God to your lives.

If anyone is in Christ they are a new creation. The old has passed away, the new has come.  2 Corinthians 5:17

  1. Is there an area of your life that you are having a hard time believing has been made new, or redeemed, after having received Christ? In what ways have you embraced having been made new?
  2. Read Revelation 21:1-5. What part of this passage stands out to you the most? In what part of this passage do you find the most hope or comfort in?
  3. Read Isaiah 43:18-19. What does it mean for Israel to forget the “former things”? What is God referring to when he says he is doing a “new thing”?
  4. In Psalm 8, the psalmist writes “what is man that you are mindful of him?” What does God’s desire for relationship with man say about us as His creation? What does it say about God as our Creator?
