Good morning!

I hope you have had a great week! I posted this core belief last week and thought I’d give it another go around this week:

One of the Core beliefs of the Park is that the Bible is God’s Word, authored by Him and is the standard by which followers of Jesus are called to live. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” It is a great reminder for me today that the words contained in the Bible are from God to me, breathed into existence by the Creator of all things, so that I might be ready to do all that He has called me to do. The question we must wrestle with continually is: Am I “in” His word? Do I know it and able to teach it? Do I consider myself to be in training? The implications for us (and the world around us) are too big to not consider and respond to the eternal value of having His Word with us today.

Starting Point on 6.23.13: What is Starting Point? We do this meeting once a month and it is designed to be a time where you get to find out more about the Park; it’s history, vision, values, etc. It is also a time where you can come with questions and we hope to provide clarity. Most questions get answered through the material that we cover, but not always. So, whether you are new or have been coming for a while, Starting Point is your next step in getting connected and I want to encourage you to join us right after service on Sunday, June 23rd. Questions? Email Chris

Exodus Community Groups: Community Groups at the Park track with the Sunday sermons. This Sunday we are going to be studying Chapter 18 of the book of Exodus. Any time we start a new book of the bible we engage our community to find out if anyone would like to join a new group. Since community is a core value of the Park, we encourage everyone to get into a Community Group. You can find a current list of groups HERE.

If you have questions, contact Chris.
