Good Morning!

One of the Core Values at the Park is servant leadership. When you read the gospels you can’t miss the truth that Jesus came to serve. In every scenario and environment He was looking to teach the truth and model what it meant to serve one another. At the end of the day, the simplest way to communicate the Gospel is to wash one another’s feet.

In the gospel of John, Chapter 13, Jesus tells his followers that the world will know that we love Him by how we love one another. As we serve one another and our city, people will see that there is a Savior at work in and through us.

There are a few other things going on around the Park that we want you to know about:

Serve at Children’s Hunger Fund: We are excited to partner with CHF on May 18th to do a FoodPak! All you have to do is a show up ready to join in on the assembly line and get food ready to go to families who need it.
Adults and kids are welcome and it is a great way to serve as a family! We hope to see you there!

Email Chris to fill out the necessary form. Thanks!

When: Saturday morning, 5/18/13 from 9am to 12pm
Where: 4940 Eisenhauer Rd. Building A #146, San Antonio TX 78218

Baptisms @ The Park: On Sunday afternoon, May 19th we will be having a time of food and fellowship as we celebrate baptism. Everyone is invited to attend!
Jeff and Jana Galt will be hosting this event at their home from 3-6pm. We have done this several times at the Galt’s and it is a great time for everyone! After baptisms please feel free and go for a swim!
(Address = 303 Red Cedar, SA TX 78230)

Baptism is a step of obedience and is an outward sign of an inward change by the grace of God. Jesus was baptized by John and before ascending to heaven commanded his followers to go and preach the gospel and baptize all of those who would come to faith. If you have questions about baptism or would like to sign up, please email us at or talk to Chris or Scott on a Sunday.

Exodus Community Groups: Community Groups at the Park track with the Sunday sermons. This Sunday we are going to be studying Chapters 12-13 of the book of Exodus. Any time we start a new book of the bible we engage our community to find out if anyone would like to join a new group. Since community is a core value of the Park, we encourage everyone to get into a Community Group. You can find a current list of groups HERE.
If you have questions, contact Chris.

Starting Point on 5.19.13: What is Starting Point? We do this meeting once a month and it is designed to be a time where you get to find out more about the Park; it’s history, vision, values, etc. It is also a time where you can come with questions and we hope to provide clarity. Most questions get answered through the material that we cover, but not always. So, whether you are new or have been coming for a while, Starting Point is your next step in getting connected and I want to encourage you to join us right after service on Sunday, May 19th. Questions? Email Chris
