Good morning!
I hope you have had a great week!
One thing we do from time to time at the Park is recruit for volunteers. We ask for once a month commitments in order to keep our main focus on the ministry that takes place in and through all of our lives outside of Sunday mornings. But Sundays do take a small army to pull off and it’s amazing to see it all come together each week. You can serve in areas like Family Ministries, Set-up & Take-down, Communion, Lead a Community Group, and pulling the Trailer. You can signup online at: www.theparksa.org and click on “Volunteer” in the upper right corner. Thanks for volunteering!
The Word does the work. As Christians there is a desire in us to do good and be fruitful. We see in the scriptures that we are called to live lives that reach out to others and share the gospel. Read the book of James if you disagree. What I have seen in my own life however is that in my desire to do stuff for God I get exhausted and burned out. I have forgotten what it says in John 15, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” The Word does the work as we abide in Him. As we are seeing in Galatians, the gospel that saves us by grace points directly to a Savior who can do anything in and through us.
Staff Highlights:
At the Park, all of our staff people are bi-vocational and we want to support them in any way possible. So, we will be letting you know who these amazing people are and what they do. Help us spread the word on these folks!
Kyle Isenhower is one of the Co-Founders of the Park and also runs his own production business called Isenhower Productions. Kyle has created much of the content you see on Sundays and can usually be found by the sound board and computers. He is extremely talented, creative, and professional. He designed our current website which is amazing and easy to navigate.
If you haven’t met Kyle on a Sunday, you should change that this week!
Find out more about Kyle’s work at: http://www.isenhowerproductions.com/
We look forward to all He will do in this new year. See you Sunday!
