Good morning!

I hope you have had a great week!

One thing we do from time to time at the Park is recruit for volunteers. We ask for once a month commitments in order to keep our main focus on the ministry that takes place in and through all of our lives outside of Sunday mornings. But Sundays do take a small army to pull off and it’s amazing to see it all come together each week. You can serve in areas like Family Ministries, Set-up & Take-down, Communion, Lead a Community Group, and pulling the Trailer. You can signup online at: www.theparksa.org and click on “Volunteer” in the upper right corner. Thanks for volunteering!

There are a few other things going on around the Park that we want you to know about:

Starting Point on 2/17/13: What is Starting Point? We do this meeting once a month and it is designed to be a time where you get to find out more about the Park; it’s history, vision, values, etc. It is also a time where you can come with questions and we hope to provide clarity. Most questions get answered through the material that we cover, but not always. So, whether you are new or have been coming for a while, Starting Point is your next step in getting connected and I want to encourage you to join us right after service on Sunday, February 17th. Questions? Email chris@theparksa.org

Galatians Teaching Series: This Sunday we will continue our study of Paul’s letter to the churches in Galatia. One way to get more out of Sunday mornings is to read ahead before coming. So read through Galatians 5 a couple of times and come ready to take some notes.

Galatians Community Groups: One of our core values at the Park is community. If you are looking to connect with other people one place to recommend to you would be one of our community groups. These groups are open to anyone and track with the Sunday sermons with regard to their bible study element. You can find our updated list of groups at www.theparksa.org and click on ‘Community Groups’.
