SPIRITUAL PRACTICES

“God has given us the Disciplines of the spiritual life as a means of receiving his grace. The Disciplines allow us to place ourselves before God so that he can transform us.”

Richard J. Foster, A Celebration of Discipline

Following Jesus takes practice. This fall, we encourage you to join us in establishing some new spiritual rhythms and practices in your life. Below you will find a daily scripture reading and a weekly audio devotional podcast.

DAILY SCRIPTURE READING

Our church family is joining in new rhythms this fall season. During our 2 Corinthians series we invite you to join us in daily scripture reading. We long to see a work of God in our church and in our city. What might the Spirit do in us if we are committed to daily reading together? Join us and lets see what God will do.

The passages are chosen to coincide with our sermon series on the book of 2 Corinthians.

The reading plan is set up so that there’s no “catching up” to do. If you miss a day, just pick up on the next one! Follow along with the readings using a Bible or The Park App. Jump in and get started! Establish a regular time and place to help you get into a prayerful state of mind more consistently.
